The tourism, arts, and cultural industry operators are encouraged to promote free discount products and domestic tourism packs on Malaysia.travel website.
Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said that the website, created by Tourism Malaysia, is intended to facilitate the publication of domestic tourism promotions by the industry, in particular, tourism agencies, hotels, and other operators.
“We hope this would help boost the Cuti-Cuti Malaysia campaign further and encourage the people to support the domestic tourism industry now that it has been allowed to operate since June 10 under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO),” she said in a statement.
According to Nancy, about 136 e-voucher and packages with 24 registered local tourist agents were uploaded onto the website.
Industry players who are interested can send in their applications by first setting up an account at https://www.malaysia.travel/merchant.
