MALAYSIA:

According to Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, the Tourism, Arts, and Culture Ministry has advocated making it easier for Chinese tourists to enter the nation.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, the tourism, arts, and culture minister stated, "This can also speed up the arrival process" (Jan 8).

He claimed that by inviting visitors from China, Malaysia may be seen as a welcoming country.

He continued, "At the same time, it also considers the degree of health and safety of Chinese travelers and allays the worries of foreign tourists about Malaysia's decision to tighten the SOP at the country's gateway.

Later, Tiong said that his government will station Mandarin-speaking officials at all national airports.

The purpose of this, he continued, is to facilitate operations at arrival points, particularly for visitors from China who speak limited English and do not understand Bahasa Malaysia.

Tiong stated, "The ministry would coordinate this endeavor with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department and international airport administration throughout the nation.
