Vistara, an Indian full-service carrier, and Tata Group and Singapore Airlines joint venture, announced that it will operate non-stop flights from 19 November 2020 between Delhi to Doha, the state capital of Qatar.
It will run its Airbus A320neo twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays between the two cities, as part of the India-Qatar bilateral "transport bubble" deal.
“We are pleased to strengthen our presence in the Middle East by adding another global city to our steadily growing network, albeit for special flights under the ‘transport bubble’, said Leslie Thng, chief executive officer of Vistara.
As an economic hub of the region, Doha continues to draw business travelers and is home to a large number of Indian expatriates. We are confident that travelers on this route will appreciate having the choice of flying India’s only five-star airline”, she added.
All networks, including the airline's website, mobile apps, and travel agents, are increasingly opening bookings.
