FRANCE :

In 2025, Viking will expand its fleet with a new Viking Longship designed for the Seine River. The new ship will sail the eight-day Paris and the Heart of Normandy trip alongside the other four ships that were added to the fleet in 2022.

The chairman of Viking, Torstein Hagen, stated in a statement, "France continues to be among the most popular destinations for our passengers, and we are glad to increase our fleet on the Seine River to fulfill this demand." The "City of Light" will soon be accessible to even more visitors thanks to our special mooring site at Port de Grenelle.

The new ship will have a Scandinavian design and be able to accommodate 168 passengers in 84 bedrooms. To consume less fuel, the spacecraft is also equipped with hybrid propulsion and internal solar panels.

The roundtrip Paris and the Heart of Normandy voyage will stop in Giverny, Rouen, the American Military Cemetery in Normandy, and travel through both urban and rural areas.
