Dr. Hezri Adnan, Chief Executive Officer said the Strategy outlines three main thrusts, namely economic diversity, safe of tourism and local culture, and sustainability, backed by 10 implementation strategies.

He said that the 10 strategies included aiding infection monitoring of COVID-19, reducing the impact on the population at risk, opening new economic opportunities, and recalibrating Langkawi as a safe, clean, and sustainable destination.

“LADA will promote Langkawi tourism by focusing and implementing fiscal measures to reduce the impact on the private sector," he told at a press conference at the LADA Complex.
