MICE procurement conference 2019 held at Shanghai

In a recently held event on 10 September at the Royal Garden Hotel Shanghai came to a successful conclusion that very day. The event was basically for the Business Travel MICE Procurement Conference 2019 - Shanghai Station, jointly hosted by China BT MICE and ITB China. The conference had attracted a maximum of 300 senior industry attendees from all over China, representing all segments of MICE and Business Travel.

The conference mainly focused on the very theme of “Value + Compliance: Double Helix of MICE Business”. We could experience the Corporate procurement managers from various segment of industries coming together and sharing their cutting-edge experience, knowledge and expertise with experts from communication agencies, MICE vendors, event technology companies, cultural travel group organizers and immersive experience solution providers about industry trends at the event. The events have been taking place in Beijing for 9 consecutive years and then gradually moved to Shanghai this year to engage with the MICE Operators of the megacity.

The conference also witnessed the launch ceremony of the China Dynamic Procurement Alliance co-hosted by ITB China. The alliance will basically provide a social media platform of experts for corporate procurement managers of various industries. It will hold regular seminars and workshops in Shanghai and Beijing to share professional insights, explore procurement strategies and practices in the fields of conferences, business travel and marketing, and also regularly introduce innovative technologies and models for professional discussions.

As the fourth year of ITB China is taking place from 13 to 15 May 2020 in the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre, it will focus more on MICE and Corporate travel followed by networking events especially celebrating and in close-knit interaction with MICE & Corporate Travel presented by key industrial players.
