Sabah allows international traders and investors to enter the state

KOTA KINABALU :

The government of Sabah has agreed to allow international traders and investors to enter the state.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal , however, said the Health Declaration Form must be filled out by international traders and investors and adhere to the Sabah Health Department Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs).

“The permission is also subject to existing regulations of the Immigration Department and other relevant authorities,” he said in a statement.

Mohd Shafie said the government also nodded in other sports and leisure events, including swimming and snooker subject to the authorities' SOPs.

In the meantime, the people of the state were told to always avoid crowded areas, enclosed spaces, and close conversations.
