The Penang International Food Festival (PIFF) 2023 opens on the mainland for the second consecutive year to shine a spotlight on Seberang Perai.

Bertam Tasty Trails showcases an array of mouth-watering selection of 'must-eat' food options, from savoury to sweet and from local favourites to international delights dished out by dozens of food trucks and food stalls handpicked for the festival, providing foodies the unique opportunity to sample all of Penang's world-class culinary offerings under one roof.

The two-day gastronomic event aims to showcase the very best of Penang diverse food scene while bringing Penang's hidden vacation gem, Bertam, out of the shadows, in line with the Penang State Government's Penang2030 vision as well as the 'Jom! Experience Penang' and
"The Opposite Side of the Island - Seberang Perai' tourism campaigns.

Throughout the evening, foodies tuck into a wide selection of food truck bites, coffee shop staples, and desserts. Adding colour to the opening ceremony are busking performances by local talents, cooking show, and family-friendly activities at the kids play area. A spectacular firework display caps off a memorable PIFF 2023 launching ceremony moment.
