China’s lake city Wanzhou promotes tourism, culture products via online

Wanzhou District of west China's Chongqing Municipality  has recently been live streaming on 12 online platforms, to promote tourism and cultural products.

According to the publicity department of Wanzhou district, Wanzhou has received 35.42 million views and 11.27 million likes with its stunning scenery and rich resources.

Wanzhou has a long history and a profound culture in the very heart of the Three Gorges reservoir city. The city has drawn scholars since ancient times to stop.

In the past 1800 years, Wanzhou has been home to Chongqing, Three Gorges, immigration, anti-Japanese war, and revolutionary culture that produced a unique local community.

Wanzhou has witnessed the emergence of a string of lakes before 29 city parks and 26 city squares were built, forming an interconnected waterfront space. In 2016, Wanzhou's lake landscape was rated one of the top 10 new tourist attractions of the new Three Gorges.

The Western Hills bell tower, the Immigrant Memorial Hall and the Wanzhou Waterfall are some of the places to visit in Wanzhou, according to a statement.

In order to promote green growth Wanzhou has always given priority to conservation. Wanzhou strives for a regional central city and a commercial centre in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area by taking the opportunity of building the economic circle in Chengdu-Chongqing.
