Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ronojoy Dutta said that IndiGo will lay off 10 percent of its workforce.

The move is expected to have an impact on 2 500 to 2 800 airline workers.

The company source told us that on Monday it increased the notice compensation, along with a monthly company costs (CTC) for each worked year and an annual charge.

Health insurance will also be offered by the airlines by December 2020, and one-way tickets will be granted if an employee returns to the base station added the source.
