Malaysia’s first ever travel themed run will be held in Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR:

ASHRAE Run is a running event organized by ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter, collaborated with Student Chapter of the University of Malaya to promote a healthy lifestyle and multicultural understanding among the public. The run will be held at the High Impact Research (HIR) Building, the University of Malaya on 1 March 2020, 6.30 am. Through ASRAE Run, people can engage in exotic cultures from these 4 countries namely Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand. 

There's 2 option categorized with 5km stretch (for a more casual run) and 10km (for challenge runners). There are also prizes for the top 3 runners for the 10km running competition. 1st position winner will be rewarded with RM200, 2nd place with RM150 and 3rd place with RM100.

The 5km and 10km routes are specially embellished with authentic decorations from each country for a unique, vibrant experience while running! Upon completing the run, immerse yourself in a mini-festival from each of the participating countries’ cultures. Participants get to play interactive games in the cultural booths set up by the country’s tourism board including from the Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur and Taiwan Tourism Bureau.
