The Malaysia Association of Tour and Travel Agents held their 2019 Deepavali Celebrations today at Park Royal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The Deepavali celebration was organized for members and friends of the industry to interact and network with one another.

Gopalan Mariappan, Selangor chapter chairman said this event not only saw tour operators but partners from other sectors such as hotels, product owners and more. 

This event also aims to highlight the richness of Indian culture and to continue to work together to grow the tourism industry.

Rocky Kho, Kuala Lumpur chapter chairman who was present at the event said it takes a collaborative effort to bring in more tourist to Malaysia.

“We have to work together and set aside our differences to bring in the numbers”, he said.
