National Craft Day 2020 to celebrate its 18th year

Malaysian Handicraft Development Corporation, an agency under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia will be hosting the National Craft Day Celebration (HKK 2020), which begins on 26 February until 9 March 2020 at the Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex, Jalan Conlay.

'Culturizing Craft in Lifestyle' is the concept chosen for this event held for the 18th times by encouraging the usage of local craft products in today's daily life.

Apart from its main focus which is the sales of craft products ranging from textile, forest-based, metal-based, earthen-based and other assorted crafts, more impressive activities are also organized such as; the latest product exhibition for VM2020, craft demonstrations, cultural performances, incoming buying mission, local food sales and demonstration, edu-craft, craft pocket talk, competitions and many more.

According to the Director-General of Malaysian Handicraft Development Corporation Ibrahim bin Ismail, HKK 2020 which will be officiated by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on February 27 is also aimed at recognizing local handicraft products.
