Rapid KL will continue LRT services in conjunction to the Malaysia Cup Finals

KUALA LUMPUR:

Rapid KL will extend its Bukit Jalil Light Rail Transit (LRT) services in conjunction to the Malaysia Cup final between Kedah and Johor at the National Stadium, Bukit Jalil on Saturday until 1 A.M.

In a statement, the operators of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad said, the three-lane bus service from the Awan Besar Station was extended, whereas the final bus will depart at 1 am.

It stated “The routes involved for the operations were bus 652 (Awan Besar station-Batu 3 Old Klang Road), T580 (Awan Besar station - Bukit Jalil station) and T582 (Awan Besar station- Salak Selatan station, Bukit Jalil.

The statement also said Rapid KL had urged supporters who wanted to go to the stadium to use public transport to avoid congestion and users were also advised to stay safe and to contact the station personnel if they need further assistance.

Parking facilities are available at nearby LRT stations including the Goodwill station, Big Cloud station, and Sri Petaling station, it stated.
