This is a campaign to reignite pride, patriotism, and passion in every one of us and brings Malaysia to its deserved glory.

"Sayangi Malaysia is an industry-driven voluntary campaign to promote Malaysia as a sustainable destination for tourism and business. TPN initiated this campaign to raise love for our shared values, culture and tradition, arts and heritage, and environment.

This bodes well with the government's Malaysia Madani agenda. The aim is also to boost productivity and competitiveness of Malaysia's tourism industry."During the recent strategic session, we are truly thankful for the support and commitment received from various organisations - tourism industry players and associations, government bodies and regulators, public and private universities, eminent individuals, and businesses, who have pledged to promote and participate in Sayangi Malaysia."

"We will be publishing the Sayangi Malaysia brand manual very soon. From there, individuals, businesses, and organisations can come together to be parts of Sayangi Malaysia. We use crowd marketing for the campaign. A few tourism companies have started printing the Sayangi Malaysia logo for their souvenirs and spreading the Sayangi Malaysia message. We hope all Malaysians are with us in this.", said Rohizam.

Rohizam added, "Sayangi Malaysia comprises five main thrusts of unity, ethics, heritage, culture, and environment, represented by the five fingers held close to our hearts as a form of the Malaysian way of greetings guests. TPN and its collaborative partners, fully supported by Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), have strategised the campaign to include sustainable tourism, human resources, destination branding, digitalisation, high-value destinations, and collaboration. We intend to mould Malaysia as a great tourism nation.", Rohizam concluded.

All Malaysians are invited to use the Sayangi Malaysia logo for promotions, gifts and souvenirs, merchandise, and marketing materials to raise awareness and spread the message of love for Malaysia.
