INDONESIA:

Following tourism promotion in Mumbai in early February 2024, Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will return to South Asia’s Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE) from 22 to 24 February 2024 at the India Expo & Mart, Greater Noida, New Delhi.

The Wonderful Indonesia pavilion at Hall 10 Booth B08 will feature the “Keep the Wonder” theme, presenting 41 tourism industries in the nation. These include travel agents, tour operators, hotels and tourist attractions. Marriott Indonesia and Indonesia Safari Park will participate as official partners.

The ministry is focusing on promoting five Super Priority Destinations: Lake Toba, Borobudur Temple, Mandalika, Labuan Bajo and Likupang.

The luxury segment is also being targeted, with Indonesian tourism industries reportedly preparing tour packages that suit luxury and ultra-luxury travellers from India.

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno explained that the number of visitors from India has continuously showed positive trends. GlobalData’s travel and tourism intelligence confirms that India ranks fourth in the top five source markets for Indonesia.
