The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recently organised the Amazing Thailand MEGA FAM Trip to the North Trade Meet, providing a dynamic platform for business negotiations between travel company representatives from the Asia and South Pacific markets and Thai tourism businesses in the Northern region.

The event, held in December 2024 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Chiang Mai, aimed to stimulate short-haul market arrivals, targeting over 25 million tourists visiting Thailand this year.

The event was presented by Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, along with  Pattaraanong Na Chiangmai, Deputy Governor for International Marketing – Asia and the South Pacific, and  Kittipong Prapattong, Deputy Governor for Digitalisation, Research and Development. Other TAT executives were also in attendance, further highlighting the significance of the occasion.

TAT New Delhi and TAT Mumbai offices invited a few agents and media to experience the new attractions and experiences as well as popular tourism products in Chiang Mai that will help to promote Northern Thailand for Indian travelers. The agents also got an opportunity to network with tourism providers in Thailand that are keen to work with the Indian market.
